ReFirme™ treatment requires no special preparation. The special applicator combines the heat of a laser with a cooling unit that keeps your skin cool during the procedure. This method also gives you the added benefit of no downtime. You can return to work or normal activities immediately after leaving the office.

 

 

During the treatment, a gel is applied to the area that is to be treated. This gel helps the transducer glide easily across your skin. The head of the transducer is about 1/2 inch from top to bottom and an inch across. When the laser is activated, you will feel a slight a warmth or cooling sensation.

 

Each session will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. You will likely see a slight improvement after only one session and your treatment program should be completed in 5 sessions. Sessions will likely be 3 to 4 weeks apart. You may benefit from a maintenance program with follow-up sessions approximately 6 months apart.

 

ReFirme™ skin tightening is an optimal solution for many patients, but some individuals will not see the desired results from this non-invasive procedure and may be advised to consider cosmetic surgery to improve or tighten the skin on their face and neck.
